Product Description

This is not a temporary seat. It is a 70-pound structural anchor.

The Monolith Stool coordinates the brute physical gravity of solid timber with the absolute clarity of gallery-grade boutique resin. The design is executed from a single, dense block of century-old Anatolian walnut, stabilized through multi-stage kilning and vacuum-infused with resin to preserve the raw, fractured heartwood. It functions interchangeably as an architectural stool, a side installation, or a structural plinth.

Edge Architecture

  • The Straight Edge: Clean, uncompromised modernist lines to emphasize the cube's strict geometry.

  • The Softened Edge: Meticulously hand-beveled profiles that temper the block’s mass without breaking its silhouette.

The Integrity of Mass Weighting approximately 32 kg (70 lbs), each block is structurally solid. We do not use hollow cores, internal fillers, or industrial veneers. The wood and the resin run continuously through the entire depth of the cube. The top surface is hand-sanded across multiple grits to ensure the grain and resin layers transition seamlessly, finished only with natural oils to let the timber breathe. Each piece is hand-signed at our Ankara studio.

Spatial Tailoring We work directly with interior architects, hospitality procurement directors, and private curators. Timber crack density, resin coloration, and precise edge treatments can be tailored to align with your interior blueprint.

Timing Working with raw mass requires absolute patience. The multi-layer resin infusion and slow curing process cannot be accelerated without structural risk. Each custom commission requires 4 to 6 weeks of dedicated studio work. We do not rush.

International Delivery (DDP) For private collectors and corporate estates across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe: all shipping, customs clearance, and import duties are fully managed and prepaid by our house.
